Liberation, The Occupation, Battlefields and Heritage


Learn how the Islands were occupied during World War Two. You could join Islanders celebration of the Liberation and visit the places of interest which have been restored; get behind the scenes and speak to a number of people involved.

Places of interest: Occupational Tapestry Gallery, Jersey War Tunnels, Channel Islands Military Museum, Greve de Lecq Barracks, La Hougue Bie, Mont Orgeuil Castle and Elizabeth Castle.

Arts & Music


With Jersey's own Glastonbury (without the mud!) we are now placed firmly on the map for music festivals. The Branchage International Film Festival has been recognised worldwide with Micheal Pearce being a BAFTA nominee in 2011.
