| Wednesday 25th April - Le Tour de Bretagne |
Jersey hosts this highly prestigious French cycle event as it leaves the frontiers of Brittany for the first time in its history to stage a 4.7km time trial along Jersey's Victoria Avenue. 120 professional and amateur riders will race at speeds greater than 60kmph in the prologue to the road race that will continue from St Malo the following day. Previous winners of the race have gone on to become Tour de France champions. |
